Eligibility Conditions
You and your company must meet certain eligibility requirements before receiving your work permit. These are some of them: You must be at least 18 years old.Your employer’s business license must be current. Your employer must not have broken the law in any way. The work you undertake must be in accordance with the nature of your employer’s business. Aside from that, foreign workers are classified into one of three groups based on their qualifications or abilities:
- Category 1: those with a bachelor’s degree
- Category 2: those with a post-secondary diploma in any field
- Category 3: those with a high school diploma
Documents Required for UAE Work Permit
- Your original passport with a copy.
- Passport-size photograph.
- The UAE Embassy or Consulate in your nation, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country, must both approve your qualifications.
- A medical certificate from a government-approved health center in the United Arab Emirates.
- The company card or commercial license of the company that is hiring you.
- The government takes roughly 5 working days to grant your work permit after you submit your application.
- The Labor Card and the Residence Visa are required to obtain a work permit.
