What is the Process of Degree Attestation for Saudi Arabia?

Step 1: Higher Education Commission (HEC)
The first step for the attestation of degree from Saudi embassy and Saudi Arabia culture is to attest it from higher education commission (HEC) in a Pakistan. Requirements- Original matric certificate with mark sheet

Step 2: Foreign Office
Once degree is attested by the HEC, the next step is to attest it from the ministry of foreign affairs of Pakistan.Step 3: Saudi Culture Office
Before taking your educational documents or degrees for the attestation to Saudi Arabia embassy, you need to get them endorsed by Saudi culture office in IslamabadRequirements
- Original job contract or offer letter attested from MOFA and Chamber of Commerce (KSA).
- A request letter to Saudi Cultural Islamabad for degree attestation
- Original degree certificate with foreign office attestation
- Mark sheet of the degree to be attested from MOFA Pakistan.
- Secondary school certificate original
- A letter from the university campus verifying that this person has completed the degree at their campus (Bonafied/Regular Student Certificate)
- Iqama copy (if applicable)
- Saudi Arabia Visa Copy

Step 4: Saudi Embassy
The last step in the attestation process is getting the degree or educational documents attested from the Saudi Arabia embassy in Pakistan.Requirements
- All the above – mentioned documents
- A request letter to Saudi embassy for degree attestation
- A certified and notarized copy of the applicant’s university degree/diploma (if required), which MUST be authenticated by the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission
- Diplomas must also be notarized by a Saudi Arabian Consulate in Pakistan.
- Diplomas issued by academic institutions outside the Pakistan, need equivalence certificate must be certified by the by Education board, MOFA (PAK), Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission and the Saudi Arabian Embassy or must be certified by the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission and the Saudi Arabian Embassy in the issuing country.
